About
The Socio-Economic Disadvantaged Group (SEDG) Cell operationalises the equity vision of NEP-2020 by supporting learners from socially and economically under-represented backgrounds. It works to ensure that talent, not circumstance, determines a student's trajectory.
Objective
- To identify and mentor students from socio-economically disadvantaged groups.
- To facilitate access to scholarships, financial aid and welfare schemes.
- To ensure their full and equitable participation in academic and co-curricular life.
- To provide responsive grievance redressal and sustained support.
