Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
About
Established under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, and the UGC Regulations, 2015, the Internal Complaints Committee safeguards the right of every woman on campus to a workplace and learning space free from harassment. It affirms the Institute's belief that equity and safety are non-negotiable conditions for excellence.
Objective
- To prevent, prohibit and redress sexual harassment through a fair and confidential mechanism.
- To conduct inquiries that are impartial, time-bound and sensitive to the complainant's dignity.
- To institutionalise awareness of gender rights, consent and workplace conduct.
- To recommend and monitor corrective and preventive measures in accordance with the law.
