Research Advisory Committee
Introduction
The Research Advisory Committee (RAC) is the apex policy-making body for research at Jain Vishva Bharati Institute (JVBI). It oversees overall doctoral operations, ensures strict compliance with UGC and institute regulations, and makes strategic recommendations to the Academic Council. The RAC focuses on institutional oversight, broad methodology standards, and approving major administrative actions such as registration cancellations.
Objectives
- To consider, discuss, and approve research-related matters of the Institute.
- To make suitable recommendations to the Academic Council.
- To ensure proper implementation of the Ph.D. Regulations and related regulations of the Institute.
- To guide the research scholar to develop the study design and methodology of research and identify the course(s) that he/she may have to do.
- To supervise and monitor the overall research activities of the Institute.
- To consider the recommendations of the RAC, including cases of cancellation of registration due to unsatisfactory progress of a research scholar.
