Introduction
This Department prepares learners for higher level performance in education, including teacher education, who would develop an understanding of all contemporary concerns of education like: curriculum planning and development, educational planning and management, research in education, evaluation, guidance, educational technology, science of living, yoga and preksha meditation. The Institute pursues the curriculum for its pre-service teacher training programme for women candidates who are far behind but can lead the whole nation.
